Around 2010 I was making music under the moniker Jan Jeffer, mostly sampling myself and others I was working with at the time such as Rohan Young, Una Monaghan and Steve Porter. I was, and still am, a huge drum’n’bass fan and this music was my response to my experience of club culture, something to listen to at 4am when your brain won’t quit, something organic to get you through the Tuesday blues.
